Artistic Vision
My artistic vision as an orchestra conductor in higher education is to bridge the gap between tradition and innovation. While I deeply respect and uphold the rich orchestral standards, I am committed to dismantling the walls of elitism. I envision a vibrant, inclusive space where musicians explore diverse genres, inviting fusion and collaboration. We shall embrace classical masterpieces while daring to weave in elements from jazz, world music, and electronic genres. By nurturing an environment of experimentation, we empower our students to become versatile, open-minded musicians, breaking free from rigid norms. Together, we'll redefine the orchestra as a dynamic force for artistic evolution, celebrating the unity of diverse voices in harmony.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
I am a conductor committed to transcending musical boundaries and ensuring that music is an inclusive, universal language accessible to all. My dedication to diversity and inclusivity in orchestral performances knows no bounds. I believe that music should be a bridge that connects people across genres, cultures, and backgrounds. Whether it's classical, jazz, pop, or any other genre, I am passionate about creating performances that resonate with everyone. I actively seek out collaborations that challenge traditional norms, pushing the boundaries of what orchestras can achieve. Through my work, I aspire to inspire, unite, and make music an enriching experience for all, erasing any limits that may hinder its accessibility and enjoyment.
